Granite Creek’s Unique CultureEvery family is unique and every church family is unique. What makes Granite Creek unique is our value of strengthening families and affirmation of education hard work and creativity. We are trying to reach progressive thinking adults and families who are looking for a church with ministries designed to meet the needs of our current culture without compromising the message. We want to bridge the gap between people who are hungry for God and who care deeply about the needs of hurting people within our local community as well as around the world.
Our MissionThe mission of Granite Creek Community Church is to change lives through the transforming work of Jesus Christ. Bringing people far from God into a restored communion and community with God.
The purpose of our church is summarized in a single sentence based on two key scriptures:"WE BELIEVE A GREAT COMMITMENT TO THE GREAT COMMANDMENT AND THE GREAT COMMISSION WILL GROW A GREAT CHURCH!" The Great Commandment: "Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.'" Matt. 22:36-40 The Great Commission: "Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matt. 28:19-20 |
