The volunteer staff
has a big vision for the Junior High Ministry. We will have a new Junior High,
which will allow the students to feel safe in their own environment and grow in
their giftings. This is our vision for the Junior High:
- A safe secure environment where kids
feel free to grow.
- Youth volunteers who will disciple
individual kids, helping them to know Christ through His Word
- Schedule more fun events including
broom ball, bowling and beach trips

Junior high is a pivotal point of development in a person’s
life, whether it is spiritually, mentally or physically. At Granite Creek
junior high students will experience a strong sense of community with their
peers while they spend Wednesday nights being involved in outside activities,
praising God through worship, and taking a look at the Word of God, while on
Sundays they take a deeper look into how the Word of God can become their daily
bread. The junior high ministry is geared towards the life issues of middle
school students and is separated from the high school ministry, with a goal of
showing the students how to live a Christ like life that will impact them for
the rest of their lives.
