The high school ministry strives to use worship, the Word, and its
leaders to set an example of how to serve Christ in high school and
allow Him to guide your path through the journey. Overall, Granite
Creek’s goal is to prepare high school students with a solid foundation
in Christ that they can build the rest of their life.
Weekly Gatherings
Wednesday nights are all about getting introduced to the Bible in a
practical way. We have a cafe that opens at 6:30 p.m. until we start at
7 p.m. From there we play some games, and have a time of amazing
worship followed by a time of interactive teaching (view the Student
Life Curriculum) until we break for our small groups. The night ends at
8:30 p.m.
Saturday nights at 7 p.m. High School meet for social time with their
piers. A typical Saturday night would be either a movie or game and
sometimes special events
Sunday mornings are a great way for our High School students to meet
the rest of our church family. High School students attend Church in
the main sanctuary. Students are welcome to attend either 1st or 2nd
service.
Special Events
Special Events are a great way to meet us for the first time. They
happen once a month and include things like Broom Hockey, Lock-ins, and
Game Nights. Details about these can be found in the church bulletin,
at the youth welcome table, and at Youth Group on Wednesday nights.
